If you are planning your holidays in Tenerife during Easter here are some activities and places that you cannot miss.
Benijo Beach
In March the temperatures in Tenerife are high. Although not as much as in summer, this March we will reach 21º. Sunny enough to at least visit the beach once. Particularly for these dates, we want to recommend Benijo Beach to you. Benijo is the most remote beach belonging to the town of Taganana. It boasts a unique landscape on the Island and fabulous views of the Roques de Anaga rock formations. But take care of the waves because they can be quite strong.
Easter in La Laguna
Easter is the time when local religious devotees celebrate their faith. San Cristobal de La Laguna is a city in the northern part of Tenerife. La Laguna’s historical center was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999. That’s one of the main reasons why they celebrate their faith during Easter because of their connection to history. La Laguna is home to very popular processions.
Thousand-year-old Drago
Next to the parish church of San Marcos in Icod de Los Vinos you can find Drago Park. Here you can find the famous “thousand-year-old Dragon” that it is considered the oldest specimen on the islands. The Icod Dragon tree is located in a garden of Canary endemic plants species.
Teide National Park
A tour of Teide Mountain is a captivating experience that becomes essential when visiting the island. In a period of reflection such as Easter, we think that you may not want to miss the opportunity to visit Teide National Park. How to do it if not with experts? Our tour is guided by professional staff explaining the constellations seen in the sky and, in addition, it culminates with a delicious dinner; the visit to Teide can be an unforgettable experience.
We hope that these Tenerife things to do have helped you to make you a plan for your Tenerife holidays during Easter. See you on our Teide by Night tour!
